Magnetism 2014 will include three main themes of thin films & nanostructures, correlated electrons and soft matter magnetism. However, the umbrella nature of the conference means all aspects of magnetic and spintronic related research are welcomed. In future years the conference will adapt to reflect contemporary trends in magnetism.
Magnetism 2014 will be suitable for all those involved in magnetism research, from students, researchers and senior staff in academia and industry. The conference format will include invited and contributed talks as well as poster sessions. Magnetism 2014 will also host the prestigious Wohlfarth lecture, which will be open to the public with an associated reception for conference attendees.
Magnetism 2014 will be held on 7–8 April 2014 in the Renold Building, The University of Manchester.
